Braich Goch Farm Crossing.
The Braich Goch Farm Crossing was one of many obstacles to the railway. With the help of volunteers and other friends of the railway, an appeal was launched and provided the funds to enable the Society to take on a local contractor to perform all of the reprofiling of the area and the laying of a permanent crossing. As it is the access not only to the Braich Goch Farm but also for Welsh Water, a highly professional job was demanded costing several thousand pounds.
A big thank you goes to all who contributed - in whatever way.

Reroofing of Maespoeth Shed - East Side.
The Eastern side of the roof of Maespoeth Sheds was causing concern over many months - until a good storm and high winds created a six-foot hole which forced the Society to repair / replace the roof sooner rather than later. These are just a few of the many pictures that were taken over the Easter period of 1997. All work was carried out by volunteers.
A big thank you goes to all who contributed - in whatever way.
