This weekend was the planned "walling party weekend" and here you can see Andrew Rawlins working at the south-end of the wall at Braich Goch.

Pins for re-gauging the brake gear on the second bogie for brake van No. 220 were turned up. Just two more to go!

Thanks to Adrian Britchford, the end plate of the lever frame has now been replaced (the previous one was broken prior to installation).

At lunchtime, we were able to take advantage of the barbecue that had been in full use the day before for the "Sponsors Day".

After jetwashing the wheelsets Richard moved them into the shed to be given a good clean with paraffin to remove any residual grease etc.

And before Peter could put the lid back onto his tin of grey primer he was using for Van 220, Adrian Britchford got hold of it and put a coat of primer on all of the covering plates of the lever frame.
