HOW TO GET THERE

The Corris Railway is situated between many other local Narrow-Gauge Railways within the area, the map to the right shows our position in Mid-Wales.

There are trains to Machynlleth via Shrewsbury and Birmingham / Wolverhampton, and a short taxi or bus ride soon gets you to the railway from the station - or you can hire a bike from Greenstyles the bike shop in the centre of town behind the clock tower.

The railway is approx. 5 miles north of Machynlleth on the A487 to Dolgellau and is clearly sign-posted.

There is a car park within the museum and station area. Disabled visitors are very much welcomed and will be assisted when required.
