Maespoeth Midsummer Modelling Day June 21st. |
The Corris Railway is looking forward to welcoming narrow gauge railway modellers in all scales, from 009 or smaller through to G and 16 m.m. and the modelling engineering fraternity to its line on Sunday June 21st.
What is hoped to draw enthusiasts to the line is the chance to get “up close” and personal with camera, tape measure and notepads with the Railway’s heritage and replica stock which will be made accessible in and around the yard at Maespoeth Junction. As this is a new venture there is no Trade Support laid on but the Corris Museum will be open and the Corris’ own drawings will be on sale from the Museum Sales Counter. Access to Maespoeth is only possible by train from Corris and the first departure will be at 11.00 and the last return train will leave Maespoeth at 17.00.
