Saturday, 3.1.2026. No. 10 being prepped for yearly boiler exam, drained, mud hole doors off & boiler wash today. Safety valves also removed with washout & fusible plugs out.

Wednesday, 31.12.2025. The wheelsets for No. 7 are stored in order at North End of shed and ready to be reunited

Pump swap in progress, No. 10 gets it's own pump back & No. 7’s loaner will be regasketed before refitting.

Ready to go out again then No. 7’s frames will take No. 10’s place under gantry area

And outside all pit covers are being cleaned while the pump swap is in progress

All under the watchful eye of the Corris MPD Superintendent

Washout done using a new technique with offset nozzle on power washer through washout hole in boiler firebox back plate, very effective as lance is slowly rotated as lance is slowly withdrawn from washout hole
