Sunday, 24.3.2024. It's that time of year again as the forthcoming Easter weekend sees the first passenger trains of the season on the Corris railway and member Jack makes his annual trip to Wharf Station with dad John to display the new Corris poster.

Sunday, 31.3.2024. Jack and Jane are in the museum today

The thing is you don't often see Jack washing up at home.

The "Eggspress" train is getting ready to go on it's first trip to Corris ...

Jack "mans" the counter while Jane records the event whilst tidying the shelves and waiting for the first visitors to arrive.

Andrew checks in with Paul that all is well,

Waste not want not. David finds some lumps in the Ash piles that will reburn.

Saturday, 16.3.2024. A brief pause is taken to offer cakes around as it is Sara's birthday.

Waggons are despatched to collect trimmings ...

Sunday 17.3.2024. Tickets are needed as there are multiple movements today.

Although cloudy a period of brilliant sunshine helps to forget the rain for a while.

A team have been breaking out concrete to release the signal post for refurbishment and moving to another position.

The concrete pad in the ground does not want to give up easily.

But these guys do not give up easily either.

Sunday, 27.8.2023. Museum staff for the day consisted of Alan, Steve, John and Jane.

Led by Keith, H.F. Walking Holidays popped in for a cup of tea on their way from the Craft Centre to C.A.T.

Drinks for the crew were replenished - I wonder if you can spot which mug has been used by Trefor.

Steve was guard today with Andy driving and David popped in to say hello too.

Jack takes a close look at waggon 203.

With Van 220 at the helm, following it's return from it's recent loan at the Talyllyn Railway, a rake of waggons sits in the Carriage Shed.

Saturday, 2.4.22. The crew wait for the countdown to start pushing the traverser to the loop line position - and here we go.

Saturday, 2.4.22. No. 6 brings a full complement of carriages into Corris Station.

When I nod my head..... The crew wait for the countdown to start pushing the traverser to the loop line position ...

- and here we go.

Then No. 7 reverses off the traverser to get ready for the return trip to Maespoeth Junction.

A rare sight - Mr. Oxford Senior and Mr. Oxford Junior on the footplate of No. 11 ready for the last train of the day to Corris Station.

Sunday, 3.4.22. It was so cold on first arrival that there was an icicle on the water tower hose.

Monday, 11.4.22. Getting the museum ready for the Easter weekend.

Kate clears the memory in the till - Lucky she put a new roll in first!
