Monday, 4.8.14. The fence and crash barrier adjacent to the car park at Maespoeth, have received fresh paint …

…and the mini carriage shed has been slated (almost)!

Tuesday, 5.8.14. Bob is oiling around ready for the day’s work.

Later in the day, more flow-form grating has been delivered for the Carriage Shed pits.

Timber sections have been pinned and glued for the internal timber of the clerestory roof of carriage No. 22 …

…substantial progress has been made with the seat in the north compartment …

…and more steel rods and pins have been added to the brake gear of both bogies.

Elsewhere in the Carriage Shed, ideas to raise funds from our visitors are displayed!

In the Engine Shed, push (or is it pull?) rods have been prepared for carriages 22 & 23.

Thursday, 7.8.14. Its Charles’ birthday, and a Special has been run in celebration, with Patrick relaxing …

…while ladies from Melbourne (Victoria) await their husbands return …

…who are receiving a Shed Talk from Birthday Boy!
