2017 Photograph Archive

Photographs taken w/e 8th/9th July 2017

Kathy and Chris have chosen to start repainting the Maespoeth Box.
And the first job is to the box nameboard .
Meanwhile Richard the First looks puzzled as he looks at the approach road to the carriage shed .

Peter and Richard the Second have decided to give the new fence on the pedestrian access to the carriage shed an initial coat of preservative.
The preparatory work on the box is well under way with filler, primer and undercoat applied as required.
Richard the First and Third have moved the wheelset for the new carriage down to the carriage shed.

Quickly followed by more wheeled axles previously stored elsewhere.
Later Richard admires the finer points of the new wheelset .
Meanwhile Peter has moved up in the world to improve the appearance of the engine shed drainpipes.

By the end of the day the bottom front section of the box has received a top coat from Kathy and Chris.
Other tasks accomplished over the weekend included more interpretation boards being provided for the Falcon boiler display...
... and a new fence for Esgairgeiliog.

And yet another Richard has cleared the site of many of the overhanging branches.
