Sunday, 13.11.22. Even though Loco No. 10 has reached an operational stage there are still a lot of jobs to complete, this photo shows one of the three cab handrails now in place.
The front centre section of the footplate has been made.
This needs to be removable for access.
Sunday, 27.11.22. The balance pipe for the saddle tank has been fabricated just needing a drain valve in the centre to complete.

Monday, 5.12.22. Straps to mount the air reservoirs for the brake system have been made and fixed in place on the driver’s side of the cab.
Sunday, 4.12.22. These are the air reservoirs that will be used.
Tuesday, 6.12.22. A second reach rod has been made this one is to operate the cylinder draincocks from the cab.
The reach rod had to be made to clear the saddle tank balance pipe and the lubricator pipework.
The other end of the reach rod comes neatly through the front of the cab and sits in a bracket mounted on the reversing lever stand.
This photo shows one of the notches in the reach rod which when combined with the bracket and gravity holds it in the correct place.
