Sunday, 24.9.2023. Ben supervises the firing of No. 10 as it is prepared for the day's service ...

... before heading off with train for Corris.

The return of Theo and Zach on Friday saw the completion of undercoating of the main body panels of carriage No. 24.

Meanwhile, Trefor has been fitting the air pump from No. 10 - after slight tweaks - on to No. 7 ...

... and adds the running board for good measure.

At the end of the day, No. 10 is being disposed of as No. 6 passes with passenger stock, heading for the Carriage Shed.

Tuesday, 26.9.2023. Bill (and others) have removed a window in the Engine Shed, and are dismantling its protection ...

... and cleaning it up ...

... while Mark tries the new frame for size in the vacated aperture ...

... and after adjustments, holes are drilled for fixings ...

... so that it isn't long before the new frame is fixed, with cleaned glazing and protection replaced.

Monday, 2.10.2023. Jack eases No. 10 out of the Engine Shed ...

... before emerging through a cloud of steam with shortened train ...

... on a Railway for the Day charter of happy enthusiasts ...

... who appeared to thoroughly enjoy their time with us!

At the end of the day, No. 10 drags Nos. 7 and 11 back into the Engine Shed.

Tuesday, 3.10.2023. Bill prepares to seal gaps around the new window frame ...

... while in the Carriage Shed, Robin is bending timber sections around a former, to create components for the roof of carriage No. 24.
