Wednesday, 30.8.2023. The Falcon Locomotive arrives at Maespoeth Junction having travelled from Alan Keef Limited, Lea, Near Ross-on-Wye
Preparations are made with temporary track to offload the locomotive onto the Upper Corris tramway ...
... and it is carefully and very slowly moved from the flatbed onto Corris metals for the first time.
The loco passes through the gate from the car park and onto the Upper Corris Tramway.
Slowly and carefully the Falcon Locomotive is reversed down the Upper Corris Tramway with eyes and ears all watching and listening. A bit more coal is needed I think.
David drives No. 6 to propel the Falcon Locomotive into the engine shed for the night.
First time passing the Signal Box.
The loco is carefully pushed into position for its first night at Maespoeth.
No. 10 is parked safely in the engine shed.
