Friday, 25.2.2022. The Traverser has arrived at Corris Station.

...and is being lifted into place.

The moment of truth in terms of "will it fit?".

In postion and small adjustments are the order for the rest of the day.

The testing continues as the adjustments are made.

Once adjusted, the bump stops can be bolted into place...

...which is what is happening with the rear stops now.

At the end the traverser is freely moving and ready for a weight test.

Saturday, 26.2.2022. The rail loaded previously is being taken up the line by Sam in No. 6

The sleepers have been unloaded and laid out roughly in place.

The connection to the point is being finished with alignment crucial given the restricted width.

The last piece of rail is being prepared to be cut, which will join the point onto the relaid section.

The rail is cut ready for fixing into place...

...which is done almost immediately.

With a rail clamp in place, the point is now able to be used.

...and that means the rail can be brought in for unloading.

Sunday, 27.2.2022. Before unloading, the remaining sleepers are moved into postion.

The target is to get to the traverser.

The track slowly extends towards the traverser.

With just one panel to go, the sun was setting and the decision taken to stop.
