Thursday, 27.1.2022. New ballast is being spread and levelled.
The trackbed is being rolled and laser levelled.
Friday, 28.1.2022. The new point has arrived.
The toe end of the new point being lifted off.
The second half of the new point being prepared to be lifted.
The new point is safely down.
The new point has started to be moved into it's final location.
The new point is in it's position, although it will need some final adjustment.
Saturday, 29.1.2022. The first of the new sleepers start to be set out.
The sleepers gradually get unloaded and spacing checked.
The first track panel starts to progress...
...and the first panel is complete.
Sunday, 30.1.2022. The new track is getting closer to the Station site...
...and the track is starting to head back to the station.
With six track panels laid, the track is technically now inside the Corris Station limits....
...and finally No. 6 gets to have a run up and down the new track...
With track laid, the next set of sleepers start to be worked on at Maespoeth.
