Friday, 5.11.2021. New treated softwood sleepers are transferred from road to rail at Maespoeth, destined for use at Corris Station.
Sunday, 7.11.2021. Yesterday, in the pouring rain, the new sleepers were off-loaded and stacked at Maespoeth ...
... a (plastic) sleeper was fitted with rail clips to prove the modified drilling jigs ...
... and the siding was lifted in Corris preparatory to further works over the winter.
During the previous week, the Housing Association at last replaced the rotten fence panel above the station site.
