Welcome to the Photograph collection of the The Corris Railway.

Many photographs are taken of the Railway both whilst work is going on and when passenger services are running. The menu to the left has been split into "year" sections partly to enable visitors to see the progress of the Railway over a period of time.

Below you will see the most recent photographs that have been put onto the web site. Click on the year number in the left menu to see all photographs for a particular year.

If you have any photographs of the Corris that you would like to donate to the Railway for publication on the web site then please send them to the Webmaster with a covering note, or e-mail if they are digital, stating that you are donating them and have no objections to them being published by The Corris Railway Society on the web site or in other associated publications. Thank you

...while in the Carriage Shed, Andy gives a good impression of working on No. 22, while the real workers, Dick and Adrian, just get on with it!

Electrical power systems are gradually being installed down the shed.

Later, Alan Cox, Richard and (under the carriage) Andy work on replacing the bogie under the carriage...

1864
...while on No. 22, Adrian appears to have had his legs cut off!

The sun has gone, temperatures have dropped, but Paul, Richard and Dick have almost completed bolting up the turnout - it just needs adjustment and fixing down.

1867
Graham has been steadily working on machining the slide bars for No. 7 in the workshop...

1868
...accompanied by Steve, still drilling brake linkages for the carriages.

...while Richard cleans up in No. 22.

A picture of controversy!

A good array of fittings await installation in the pit...

1883
...while Frank has been found light duties!
