Free travel on the Corris Railway for fathers of all ages on June 20th.

In a new venture for this year the Corris Railway is marking Fathers Day by offering free travel for fathers accompanied by at least one of their children on Sunday June 20th.

The Corris is very keen to welcome new visitors to the line in the Dulas Valley and with this in mind there are no age restrictions on the offer. It will apply to fathers with their first-born only a couple of weeks old through to more venerable ones with grown-up or even “mature” offspring accompanying them and will also apply to three or even four generations travelling together.

Passengers will have the usual journey over the line plus a tour of the Railway’s base at Maespoeth and an explanation of the Corris’s plans for the future including progress on the new steam locomotive and the Southern Extension of the running line towards Esgairgeiliog and the Forestry site at Tan-y-Coed. The Museum and Shop at Corris Station will also be open.
