Friday, 2.6.2017. Components have arrived …
… for a S&T Shed.
No. 7 gets up air brake pressure outside the Signal Box …

… before setting off with empty coaching stock to Corris.
The train returns with Talyllyn “Tracksiders” …
… who set to, cleaning No. 11 …

… cleaning down paint work on the S&T Shed and stable (that had not been re-painted recently) …
… and make a start on assembling the newly arrived shed.
Andy makes a start on removing the wheelsets from the new carriage bogie so that the axleboxes can be removed and appropriate spacers inserted before they are re-secured again.

By early afternoon, parts of the S&T Shed and stable are in undercoat ...
… the cable route from Engine to Carriage Sheds is uncovered for additional cables to be added …
… and the assembly of the shed is making good progress!

The centre section of the frames of carriage No. 24 has received white undercoat …
… and between trains, gloss paint has been applied around the area of the S&T Shed and Stable.
There is a great deal of assistance to water No. 7 as some of the “Tracksiders” take seats …

… on their Special to head back to Corris …
… leaving behind a substantially completed S&T Shed (amongst other things)!
No. 7 is watered prior to stabling.

Sunday, 4.6.2017. The weather is not so bright today …
… but Ifor has trimmed down and fitted reinforcing boards on the floor of the new shed.
Later in the day, the Gravity Train comes gently to a halt with Loco No. 9 awaiting its arrival.

Tuesday, 6.6.2017. A delivery has arrived …
… and has been transported on trollies down to the yard and later, to the Carriage Shed.
Trefor has joined the Tuesday Gang today, dismantling leaking joints in the smokebox of No. 7 …

… while Bob continues turning parts for additional screw couplings …
… Adrian puts the newly arrived steel to use on carriage No. 24 …
… Dick has re-assembled the display frames on the newly painted notice board outside the S&T Shed …

… and Trefor is in his element, cleaning faces of exhaust pipes to take new gaskets.
New walkways having been cut for the “2 foot”, Dick removes rotten boards before securing the new gratings in place …
… while Graham, Charles …
